On 13 March 2025, Carlos Picos Consultora participated in an important meeting with Dubai Chamber International and the commercial team of Zonamerica. This meeting was attended by Martin Ridley, Head of the International Office of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce for the region, who shared valuable information on the advantages and facilities of establishing in Dubai as a platform for international business expansion. He also offered his professional experience on best practices and key aspects of integrating into the Dubai business environment.
The commercial team of Zonamerica presented the advantages of Uruguay as a strategic hub for goods and services in the region, highlighting Zonamerica as the leading international business community in the country.
The Carlos Picos Consultora team, with its 15 years’ experience as a direct user of Zonamerica, presented its tax consultancy services, incorporation of companies, preparation of business plans and investment projects, as well as the leasing of physical space for the installation of companies in the Free Trade Zone.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on how Uruguay and the United Arab Emirates, through their Free Trade Zones and other platforms, can generate synergies to develop a business ecosystem that benefits both parties.
